Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Compensation
- The pay for this position is competitive, based on experience.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
- The required availability for this position is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekdays and rotating weekends.
- Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology exams.
- Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
- Review clinical data, analyze anatomical structures, and perform CT scans with proper diagnostic techniques.
- Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for potential reactions.
- Assist Radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
- Ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS and complete all necessary documentation.
- Demonstrate radiation protection principles and adhere to clinical protocols.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
- BLS certification is required.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Must be self-directed, flexible, and open to new learning experiences.
- May work in a hospital with a fixed unit or in a mobile unit.
- Potential exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients.
- Occasionally may lift/move equipment or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
