Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Highlights:

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Details:

• Location: Fort Bragg, NC
• Payrate: $32-$37/hour
• Schedule: (10) eight hour shifts from 7:30am-4:30pm OR 7:30am-4:00pm for a total of 80 hours in a two week period

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Responsibilities:

• Review and/or record pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data
• Receive patients and explain procedures, providing humane and appropriate care and communication to alleviate fear of examination
• Perform appropriate clinical procedures and obtain a record of anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician
• Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic ultrasound examinations
• Perform daily warm up and assigned quality control checks of the equipment

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Qualifications:

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Graduate from a cardiovascular technologist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
