Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU Compensation

• The pay for this position is $55-$59 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU Highlights

• The required availability for this position is 3x12
• Weekends is the greater need and weekend only assignment could be created.
• Traditional weekday plus weekend assignment rotations available.
• Primarily PCU patients and could be floated to all ICU, PCU and Med Surg units with a max ratio of 1:3
• Start Date: 12/16/2024

Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU Responsibilities

• Caring for ventilated patients, initiating, and titrating IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics), Assist with intubations, line placement.
• Monitoring critically ill patients with primary diagnosis of sepsis, respiratory failure (acute and chronic), renal failure (acute and chronic), myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia.
• This is a mixed acuity unit and there are ICU and progressive patients on the same unit. Will care for both types of patients, more often progressive patients than ICU patients.

Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU Requirements

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Strong background in medical and critical care.
• Minimum: 1.5 years of ICU experience (2 years preferred).

Licenses and Certifications:

• IN RN License (valid and current)
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)

Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience preferred.
• Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred.
