RN - CVOR Compensation

• The pay for this position is $70-$74 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

RN - CVOR Highlights

• Call is required; approximately: once every 7-10 days, full weekend call every 5-6 weeks.
• Shift specifics to be determined at interview/offer.
• Float to core side if needed - general, ortho/neuro
• Position does assist with anesthesia. Candidate must be ok with being trained by facility to do this and performing these tasks as part of the assignment.
• Start Date: 01/13/2024 (one year contract)

RN - CVOR Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and available.
• Collaborating with the surgical team to review the patient’s medical history and surgical plan.
• Educating and preparing patients and their families for surgery.
• Assisting the surgeon during cardiovascular procedures, such as bypass surgeries, valve replacements, or aortic repairs.
• Monitoring the patient’s vital signs and ensuring stability during the procedure.
• Managing and anticipating the needs of the surgical team and patient during surgery.
• Administering medications, including anesthesia support, as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols.

RN - CVOR Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
• ACLS (AHA only), BLS (AHA only), IN or compact RN license
