Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Healthcare
Location: Caldwell, OH
Assignment Type: Long-Term Contract
Shift: Three 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
The facility is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide safe, ethical, and clinically sound nursing care in a structured correctional healthcare environment. This role is ideal for confident, adaptable nurses capable of delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining professional boundaries and institutional safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in a secure correctional setting

Perform patient assessments and exercise strong clinical judgment

Respond to medical emergencies within housing units

Administer medications and treatments per protocol

Work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies
Required Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license in good standing

Current CPR/BLS certification
-
Ability to work independently in a secure environment

Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills

Must be able to respond to emergencies in the units
Preferred Experience:

Prior correctional, emergency, or acute care nursing experience

Must clear metal detector

No tobacco, vapes, or cans allowed

Food and drinks must be in clear containers
