Registered Nurse - Emergency Compensation

• The pay for this position is $63-$70 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse - Emergency Highlights

• Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Variable - may be mostly weekend shifts
• On call: N/A 
• Floating: Rare, but possible.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Responsibilities

• All ages but mostly adults, medical and trauma, low acuity to critical care.
• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health.
• Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Requirements

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Associate's Degree Nursing – Required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association.
• Mask fit test (N95) is required prior to start.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
