Registered Nurse - ICU Compensation

• The pay for this position is $42-$57 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse - ICU Highlights

• The required availability for this position is day shift.
• Shift Type: Days
• Hours/day: 12
• Shift Notes: (36 hour guarantee)
• Weekend Requirements: every other weekend
• On call requirements: Possible

Registered Nurse - ICU Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients' vital signs and condition
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed
• Operate and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators and dialysis machines
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide emergency interventions in life-threatening situations
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and post-ICU care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital protocols
• Perform wound care, including dressing changes and infection prevention measures

Registered Nurse - ICU Requirements

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Certification Requirements: BLS; ACLS
• State License Requirements: Michigan
• 1 year of experience floating is not considered - Required
• EKG comfortability - Required
• Must be willing to float to similar units - Required

Registered Nurse - ICU Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro CVICU Trauma - Preferred
• CRRT and Balloon Pumps – Preferred
• Managing Vents - Preferred
