A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Med Surg RN (nights) in Grand Rapids, MI. The Med Surg RN (nights) would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Med Surg RN (nights) Compensation

· The pay for this position is $55 - $60 per hour based on experience ($1900 - $2100 weekly)

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Med Surg RN (nights) Highlights

· The required availability for this position:

· Hours: 7p-7:30a

· Shift length: 12 hours

· Guarantee: 36

· Weekend rotation: Every other weekend

· On call: none

· Med Surg RN (nights) Responsibilities

· Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.

· Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.

· This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

· Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA.

· This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health.

· Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Med Surg RN (nights) Requirements

· Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

· Required certifications: BLS,ACLS

· Michigan RN Licensure

· Med-Surg, Tele & Neuro Experience - Required.

· CRT-NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale

Ortho Neuro CHS 1 Year required

Med Surg RN (nights) Preferred Requirements

· CRT-Specialty Certification - preferred

· CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association for A2, A3,

  • Post Surgical Care and Ortho Neuro CHS 2 Yrs preferred
