Registered Nurse – Med Surg Compensation

• The pay for this position is ASN: $28.66-$47.29 / BSN: $30.66-$49.29 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, perform wound care, and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring care is adjusted based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, medications, post-discharge care, and managing chronic conditions to promote recovery and prevent complications.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records, maintaining detailed and timely records of care.
• Ensure safety and infection control by following protocols, monitoring for potential risks, and responding to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, delegate tasks appropriately, advocate for patient needs, and stay current with professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• ASN/BSN – required
• BLS – required
• Valid/Active Indiana RN License
