Registered Nurse – Med Surg Compensation

• The pay for this position is $60-$63 per hour based on experience
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Highlights

• Shift Type: Nights
• Hours/day: 12
• Shift Notes: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
• On Call Requirements: No Call

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant others changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the Caring-Quality Model.
• Seeks life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review.
• Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge, being a clinical resource, and professional role model.
• Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Demonstrates enhanced time management skills and ability to assist others in order to contribute to the overall performance of the team.
• Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives.

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Requirements

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA)
• State License Requirements: Michigan
• 2 Years of experience - Required

Registered Nurse – Med Surg Preferred Qualifications

• Travel - highly preferred
