Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Compensation

• The pay for this position is $50-$57 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Highlights

• The required availability for this position is Day Shift
• Shift Time: 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• Weekends: Every other
• No on call required.
• Will float to other units within scope as needed.

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and aftercare
• Perform wound care and other medical interventions
• Document patients’ conditions and any changes in electronic health records
• Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Manage IV lines and other medical equipment
• Support patients in post-operative recovery
• Monitor and assess for potential complications or adverse reactions
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Requirements

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Minimum 2 years' experience required.
• IL Nursing License & BLS – Required
• CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management. - Required
