Registered Nurse – Operating Room Compensation

• The pay for this position is $55-$59 per hour based on experience.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Nurse – Operating Room Highlights

• The required availability for this position is day shift.
• Hours/day: 12
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Notes: 3-12 hour shifts 7a - 7p one night of call per week and one weekend of 7p-7a Saturday & Sunday per month. Call response time of 20 minutes
• Weekend Requirements: one night of call per week and one weekend of 7p-7a Saturday & Sunday per month
• On Call Requirements: one night of call per week and one weekend of 7p-7a Saturday & Sunday per month

Registered Nurse – Operating Room Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including preoperative education and physical preparation.
• Ensure a sterile environment by adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to position patients and manage surgical equipment.
• Administer medications, including anesthesia support, as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses during surgery.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist with wound care and post-operative recovery.
• Respond to emergencies and manage complications during surgery.

Registered Nurse – Operating Room Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• 2 Years of experience – Required
• Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA)
• State License Requirements: Michigan

Registered Nurse – Operating Room Preferred Qualifications

• Ortho General Endo-Vascular Urgo OB Experience – Preferred
