Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse – ICU
- Pay Rate - $45.00-48.00 an hour paid weekly
- Benefits – active after 90 days
- Schedule – Must be able to work a mix of day and night shifts, this includes rotating weekends & holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill Burn ICU patients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor patient condition.
- Manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring, mechanical ventilation, invasive lines, IV medications, and other critical-care interventions.
- Administer medications, blood products, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.
- Assist with burn wound care, dressing changes, pain management, and infection prevention.
- Recognize signs of patient deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency interventions.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, cardiac rhythms, and other clinical data.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, rehabilitation staff, wound-care specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and ongoing care.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical documentation.
- Follow BAMC patient-safety, infection-control, privacy, and clinical policies and procedures.
Minimum Clinical Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX
- At least two (2) years of full-time experience working as an RN in an Adult Intensive Care Unit.
- A minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical nursing experience within the last four (4) years.
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
