Job Description
- Counsel and educate oncology patients on specialty drug therapies via inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Complete thorough and accurate documentation using industry standards and EMR systems.
- Discuss potential side effects with patients and educate about treatment options to support therapy adherence.
- Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to manufacturers and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards related to drug administration.
- Onsite work Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with occasional quarterly Saturday rotations.
- Remote work is required for Saturday rotations.
- Work environment includes compliance with industry and safety standards.
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact license in NC.
- Oncology and/or Hematology experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in acute inpatient care preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based programs.
