Registered Nurse (RN) Immunizer Highlights
- Pay: $50.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Worksite: On-site — Ithaca, NY 14850
- Employment Type: Temporary / Short-term assignment
- Assignment Dates: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 – November 13, 2026 (approx.)
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and administer vaccinations following clinical standards and policies
- Perform immunization screenings and verify eligibility/vaccination history
- Complete accurate documentation, including Vaccine Administration Records (VAR)
- Educate patients on vaccination services and encourage participation when appropriate
- Support efficient clinic workflow and coordinate with onsite staff/clinic partners
- Use computer systems to document care and communicate updates
- Communicate patient status changes/concerns to appropriate team members
Requirements
- Active RN license (required)
- Active BLS certification (required)
- Immunization/vaccination experience (preferred)
- Ability to commit to the full assignment timeframe (9/8/2026–11/13/2026)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced vaccination clinic environment
