Job Description
Vaccine Registered Nurse (RN) – Seasonal Contract (Immunization Clinics)
A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for seasonal/contract immunization roles administering vaccines in a retail pharmacy / community clinic setting. This opportunity is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment and providing high-quality care.
Schedule / Hours
- Minimum: 20 hours per week
- Flexibility required (hours may include evenings and weekends based on clinic needs)
What You’ll Do
- Administer vaccines (examples may include flu, COVID, MMR, etc.) per state guidelines and clinical protocols
- Screen patients for vaccine eligibility and review vaccination history
- Monitor for adverse reactions and provide appropriate follow-up guidance
- Document immunizations accurately (EMR / immunization records as required)
- Deliver professional, compassionate customer service in a high-traffic setting
- Support clinic/pharmacy workflow during slower periods as needed
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in your state of practice
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (immunization experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and follow clinical protocols
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
