Registered Pharmacist Highlights

• The pay for this position is $67.00-$87.00 per hour.
• Onsite position
• This position is a temporary contract.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications and ensure they are accurately labeled and properly packaged.
• Provide patient counseling on the proper use of medications, including potential side effects, drug interactions, and correct dosages.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and possible drug interactions.
• Monitor patient medication therapy to ensure effective outcomes, making recommendations as needed to improve treatment regimens.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain medication inventory and reorder medications as necessary to ensure availability for patient needs.
• Provide immunizations and other clinical services as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Keep accurate patient records and maintain confidential medical information.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the healthcare team and patient care.

Requirements

• Must have a valid, unencumbered Registered Pharmacist license for the state in which you will be working.
• Experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication therapy management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to optimize patient care.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Bilingual is a plus.
