Registered Respiratory Therapist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $29.00 - $37.00 (based on education and experience) per hour
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Registered Respiratory Therapist Highlights

• The required availability for this position is Full Time - Night Shift - some weekend shifts and some on call.
• Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000

Registered Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• The Therapist has the ability to respond promptly to changes to achieve optimal respiratory care being delivered to patients and affecting the quality of patient care.
• This position is responsible for independently performing respiratory care procedures which requires the ability to interpret physician orders, assess patient needs, deliver prescribed therapy and evaluate patient response.
• This includes invasive procedures that may be performed with minimal supervision and minor assistance in patient care units and critical care areas.
• Therapists will serve in a consulting role by communicating suggestions to other members of the clinical team regarding the respiratory care delivered to patients in all areas of the hospital.
• The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and make adjustments in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.

Registered Respiratory Therapist Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program - Required
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Certification Requirements: NBRC
• State License Requirements: Kansas

Registered Respiratory Therapist Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year Respiratory Care experience - Preferred ***Will consider New Grads!***
