Job Description
Location: Lewisville, TX (2-days remote, 3-days onsite Hybrid Model)
Reporting to the Remarketing Manager, the Remarketing Analyst is key-pointed at primary auction facilities. Duties include processing the sale of auction vehicles in compliance with the internal Auction Sales Agreements and Comprehensive Auction Agreements. Work involves independent judgment and decision-making initiative, as well as customarily and regularly exercises discretionary authority. The Remarketing Analyst may be responsible for supervisory responsibilities.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
30% of the time; Monitoring inspection guidelines, ensuring they are being followed by the various 3rd Party Inspection Vendors
30% of the time; Reviewing 3rd Party Inspection Vendor monthly invoices for accuracy, and providing recommendations for payment outside established agreements
20% of the time; Generating and analyzing performance metrics for 3rd Party Inspection Companies
20% of the time; Managing 3rd party Inspection Company vendor relationships to maximize accurate/timely inspections
Ideal Candidates for this Role will;
- Communicate effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with outside vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine requests
- Be able to support rigorous quality, control, and compliance programs, including ongoing control/compliance self-assessment processes
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide routine information, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and refer calls
- Strong computer skills sufficient to prepare policy manuals, perform data entry in spreadsheets, perform basic system coding, conduct inventory audits, reconciliations, etc. to ensure alignment with vendor systems
- 1-3 years of experience in a remarketing environment, including a thorough understanding of inspection processes
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Strong knowledge/proficiency with general PC applications/internet skills, specifically including MS Office and word-processing software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with others
- Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to effectively multitask
- Ability to present to large groups and executive-level staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent training/certifications preferred
