Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Pay Rate: $74.87/hour (Weekly Pay)
Assignment Dates: 07/19/2026 – 01/15/2027
Position Type: Temporary assignment with the opportunity for extension or permanent hire based on business needs and performance.
Schedule:
- PRN Weekend Support
- Every other weekend required
- Additional PRN hours available based on business needs
Must currently hold active Nurse Practitioner licenses in at least three (3) of the following states:
- Connecticut (CT)
- Georgia (GA)
- North Carolina (NC)
- North Dakota (ND)
- New Jersey (NJ)
- New York (NY)
- Pennsylvania (PA)
- South Carolina (SC)
- South Dakota (SD)

- Ability to obtain additional multi-state and non-compact state licensure as required.
Position Overview:
The Remote Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary and acute care services through a virtual telehealth platform. Working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will assess, diagnose, treat, educate, and manage patients ages 18 months and older using evidence-based clinical practices. All patient encounters are documented within an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage primary care, acute, chronic, and transitional care patients through telehealth.
- Provide health counseling, patient education, and preventive care recommendations.
- Counsel patients regarding pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, contraceptive care, and medication management.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and disposition recommendations.
- Document all patient encounters accurately within the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered customer service.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Manage multiple priorities while adapting to changing patient and business needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
- Support clinic operations and other assigned responsibilities as needed.
- Practice independently while maintaining collaboration with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license.
- Active RN and APRN licenses in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of medically relevant primary care experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- High-speed internet with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
- Proficiency using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
Preferred Experience:
- Primary care practice experience.
- Previous virtual care or telehealth experience.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
