Remote Provider Credentialing Analyst

Compensation:
- The pay for this position is $22.54 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights:
- This position is a contract assignment with the potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible start time, based on time zone)
- Training hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST for approximately two weeks
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing deliverables for payer and internal audit requests
- Perform credentialing business process functions as needed, including scheduled and random credentialing file audits
- Conduct ongoing monitoring to evaluate regulatory credentialing and delegated payer compliance with contractual requirements
- Review risk assessments, monitor ongoing compliance, and identify areas for process improvement
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement activities
- Analyze data, create spreadsheets, and identify trends for reporting
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers

- Work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- 3+ years of related healthcare or health plan experience in credentialing compliance, auditing, and quality assurance
- 2+ years of experience with NCQA compliance
- 1+ year of MDStaff experience (Preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Ability to independently create and format Excel spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and experience creating reports to identify trends
- Ability to combine and create documents using Adobe Acrobat
- Must be comfortable working remotely with independent time management skills
