Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

  • The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

  • 100% Remote – must have high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace

  • Mandatory virtual training is required with 100% attendance; pre-planned time off is not accepted during training

Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide one-call resolution

  • Enter detailed information into proprietary software while actively conversing

  • Create and complete accurate referrals and applications

  • Place outbound calls for follow-ups or confirmations

  • Provide empathetic and high-quality support to patients and providers

  • Report adverse events within required timeframes

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on policy and procedural changes

  • Manage multiple tasks with urgency while maintaining quality service

  • Interact with patient referral sources and guide applicants from initiation through final resolution

Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Customer service or call center experience preferred

  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies preferred

  • Must have a distraction-free workspace and high-speed wired internet (minimum 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload, ping <30ms)

  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and specialty pharmacy access

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

  • Previous experience with CRM systems or healthcare software is a plus
