Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Compensation

The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

100% Remote – must have high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace

Mandatory virtual training is required with 100% attendance; pre-planned time off is not accepted during training
Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide one-call resolution
-
Enter detailed information into proprietary software while actively conversing

Create and complete accurate referrals and applications
-
Place outbound calls for follow-ups or confirmations
-
Provide empathetic and high-quality support to patients and providers

Report adverse events within required timeframes

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on policy and procedural changes
-
Manage multiple tasks with urgency while maintaining quality service

Interact with patient referral sources and guide applicants from initiation through final resolution
Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
-
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
-
Customer service or call center experience preferred
-
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies preferred

Must have a distraction-free workspace and high-speed wired internet (minimum 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload, ping <30ms)

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Remote Reimbursement Coordinator Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and specialty pharmacy access

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

Previous experience with CRM systems or healthcare software is a plus
