Respiratory Therapist Compensation

• The pay for this position is  $50.00  per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Respiratory Therapist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 3 x 12 hours

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Administers a variety of Respiratory Therapy modalities and interventions to patients according to physician order and/or hospital approved policies and protocols based on evidenced based research, guidelines, and algorithms.

Respiratory Therapist Requirements

• Graduate of an A.M.A. or CoARC approved program for Respiratory Therapists (Registry eligible).
• Devices Used at Summa - Primary devices: PB 980 (ventilator), PB 840 (ventilator), V60 (noninvasive ventilator), Epoc (hand held analyzer) and ParaPac Plus (transport ventilator)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Respiratory Therapist Preferred Qualifications

• We prefer RRT, but have accepted CRT for assignments as long as they are “Registry Eligible” and have appropriate experience
