Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist will deliver prescribed respiratory care to patients independently and evaluate patient response to therapy. The role involves performing both invasive and non-invasive procedures in patient care units, including critical care areas. The Therapist will also consult with clinical teams to optimize respiratory care plans and respond promptly to changing patient needs and workloads.

Respiratory Therapist Schedule & Location:

• Full-Time Night Shift

• Some weekend shifts and on-call may be required

• Location: Live Divisions (multi-site coverage available)

Respiratory Therapist Salary/Wage:

• $29.00 - $37.00/hr (based on education and experience)

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 (discussed during interview)

Respiratory Therapist Duties:

• Interpret physician orders and assess patient needs

• Deliver and monitor respiratory treatments

• Perform invasive procedures with minimal supervision

• Consult with clinical teams across departments

• Respond efficiently to changes in patient condition or workload

• Ensure high quality and productivity in care delivery

Respiratory Therapist Required Qualification:

• NBRC - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required

• Current Kansas License or License Eligibility – Required

• 1 year of respiratory care experience – Preferred
  (New grads will be considered!)

Respiratory Therapist Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods

• Must be able to perform clinical duties in fast-paced hospital settings

Respiratory Therapist Education:

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program – Required
