Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Assess and facilitate through direct therapeutic intervention patient's ROM strength coordination need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications functional mobility and safety issues as related to patient's ADL performance needs.
• Evaluate patient occupational performance in the areas of self-care work leisure and rest. Assess sensory-motor neuromuscular psycho-social and cognitive-perceptual components of occupational behavior.
• Document patient procedures organize and analyze data maintain accurate records.
• Consults with physicians and health care professionals regarding patient/resident status.
• Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Required Two years experience as an Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
• Current state PA license as an Respiratory Therapist
• Required Proof of current CPR certification
