Pay Range: $46.17 to $66.42 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Cycle Transition Manager to join our team. This pivotal role reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Transition and will be responsible for overseeing the transition of the Hospital revenue cycle for an assigned functional area, which may include patient access, mid-cycle, CBO, or Revenue Integrity. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with leaders and external vendors, leveraging their revenue cycle expertise to ensure a seamless transition.

The Revenue Cycle Transition Manager will engage in complex work across both acute and ambulatory operations, requiring a high degree of flexibility, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving. This role is vital for ensuring that the assigned revenue cycle functional area integrates smoothly into the joint venture.

Role Focus: Assisting the Revenue Cycle Transition team with the joint venture and contributing to the transition from Cerner to Epic, specifically assisting with the OP module build.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with the Director, Revenue Cycle Transition, and various leaders to monitor and ensure performance meets or exceeds established benchmarks.
  • Assist in the development and execution of transition playbook projects, aligning with strategic priorities during the transition.
  • Utilize subject matter expertise to identify gaps, prioritize tasks, and facilitate a smooth transition on Day 1 and beyond.
  • Address operational gaps or barriers that arise post-Day 1.
  • Collaborate with hospital leaders to identify and achieve synergies prior to the Epic conversion.
  • Lead Epic conversion planning, testing, and implementation in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish long-term integration and resource plans with hospital leaders.
  • Manage multiple complex projects through their entire lifecycle, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Build trusted partnerships through effective communication, reliability, and credibility to promote ongoing collaboration and issue resolution.

FUNCTIONAL AREAS SUPPORTED: (One will be assigned)

  • Patient Access: Registration, pre-registration, insurance verification, prior authorization.
  • Mid-Cycle: Coding, clinical documentation improvement, HCC, HIM, utilization review, payer audits.
  • CBO: Insurance follow-up, denials management, patient payments, payment applications.
  • Revenue Integrity.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or project management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a commitment to achieving goals.
