Revenue Cycle Transition Manager
Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid Schedule - 1 Day per Week in Office)
Pay Range: $46.17 - $66.42 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Revenue Cycle Transition Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Revenue Cycle Transition Manager to join our team in support of a major healthcare revenue cycle transition project. This role will play a key part in ensuring a seamless transition of revenue cycle functions, specifically in the move from Cerner to Epic, with a primary focus on the OP module build. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with one in-office day per week at our Troy, MI location.

Revenue Cycle Transition Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Coordination: Oversee and manage the revenue cycle transition for assigned functional areas (e.g., Patient Access, Mid-Cycle, CBO, Revenue Integrity). Lead and coordinate critical cross-functional projects related to the healthcare system transition.
  • System Integration & Conversion: Support the transition from Cerner to Epic, with a focus on the operational and technical aspects. Assist with the build and implementation of the OP module for Epic.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with leaders from multiple teams to resolve operational gaps, optimize processes, and ensure synergies are realized during the transition.
  • Operational Excellence: Act as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transition. Ensure performance standards are met and the project stays on track.
  • Long-Term Integration & Planning: Collaborate on the development of long-term operational integration plans and strategies. Support post-transition optimization of revenue cycle processes.

Revenue Cycle Transition Manager Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or project management experience in healthcare operations.
    • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including patient access, coding, or billing.
    • 3-5 years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects in the healthcare sector.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong program management skills, with the ability to independently handle complex projects.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong understanding of data interpretation from a revenue cycle perspective, with familiarity with Cerner and Epic systems preferred.
    • Adaptability to changing needs, with a focus on driving project success.

Revenue Cycle Transition Manager Additional Requirements:

  • Location: Local candidates are required for this role. Hybrid work schedule, with one day per week in the Troy, MI office.
  • Work Environment: Normal office setting with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate of $46.17 - $66.42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
