Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)

Note: C2C & 3rd Party Candidates will NOT be considered

The Salesforce Developer will work on various projects and enhancements, executing configuration/code work to implement custom application development, assisting with developing related Salesforce reporting and analytics requirements, and deploying them to production changes/enhancements. This position requires detailed knowledge of and experience shaping SFDC environments to achieve business objectives. General job duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Working with SFDC teams, business units, and IT teams (as needed) to build solutions in that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement
  • Configuring and developing Apex code and supporting test classes, Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, and Visual Force Pages
  • Performing administration tasks related to SFDC, as needed, including user management (activation, deactivation, password support, etc.), security (roles, profiles, sharing roles, global security settings, etc.), configuration (field set-up, page layouts, record types, assignment rules, etc.), workflows and approval managements, communication templates, analytics (reports, dashboards, etc.), and AppExchange (apps and plug-ins)
  • Managing data management exercises to assure data loads, transfer, and cleansing
  • Providing user support to troubleshoot individual issues, logging support issues to identify trends and topics requiring escalation and features/enhancements
  • Working with IT to support ongoing release management and rollouts with new configurations
  • Supporting frontend desktop development using SF and other UI tools

Position Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive responsibility in Salesforce Automation on the SFDC platform, including experience with advanced workflows and complex configurations (i.e. non-coding tasks)
  • Extensive working knowledge of Visualforce, Apex, and Informatica Cloud, or other ETL tools
  • Ability to work and manage integrations to different Business Systems using SOAP, REST, GraphQL, and Bulk APIs
  • Experience in Classic to Lightning migrations, and building LWCs
  • Experience in Financial Service Clouds
  • Experience designing and developing processes in a highly Agile environment
  • Detailed knowledge of data modeling
  • Experience using data tools (i.e. Data Loader)
  • Ability to provide scalable and maintainable Platform (Salesforce) Solutions
  • Ability to utilize best practices for Salesforce development using Declarative and Apex Development (Classic or Lightning)
  • Ability to support business processes in case of production issues in configurations and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and behavior styles
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter, confident in their abilities, with self-motivation and the ability to work effectively with little supervision
  • A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to take initiative, make things happen, accept accountability, and display a sense of urgency
  • Experience with Demand Tools preferred
  • Experience consuming SOAP & REST APIs using asynchronous methods preferred
  • Experience with GraphQL integration patterns, MongoDB, or other NoSQL Data Stores preferred
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field
