  • Digital Platforms Technology team designs, develops, implements and supports WS’ s suite of Internet products and services.
  • The Digital Platforms development team focuses on delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Our team is searching for a senior scrum master to manage the development and delivery of our healthcare solutions offered to our plan sponsor clients.
  • This position will be based full time in Durham, NC.
  • You will serve as scrum master for the employer digital health solutions team.
  • You will facilitate discussions between the product sponsors, technology teams, and stakeholders to define business requirements.
  • You will support your team in the development and delivery of those requirements into production.
  • This role will require coordinating the efforts of multiple systems teams and Product Owners in support of health and welfare solutions to our customers.
The Expertise We’ re Looking For:
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years managing complex IT projects/initiatives.
  • Strong technical exposure and experience in web application development a plus.
  • Hands on experience managing and coordinating large-scale technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Experience leading, influencing and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups.
  • Experience managing an Agile team.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a plus.
  • Bachelor' s degree in MIS/Computer Science or related field a plus.
  • Your ability to successfully deliver large-scale product initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments.
  • Your collaborative approach to problem solving and your ability to adapt plans based on organizational dynamics and constraints.
  • Your ability to organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Your ability to operate and influence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Your ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Your strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills.

  • You will work collaboratively with business and technology partners to develop solutions and overall strategies that address complex business needs and opportunities.
  • You will be accountable for the successful delivery of new NetBenefits features and functions, including design, development, quality assurance and production release.
  • You will champion and drive development best practices which will improve quality and efficiency within your team and the Digital Platforms organization.
  • You will serve as a leader and mentor to other technologists within the Digital Platforms organization.
