Job Description
Location: New York City – Midtown Manhattan (2-days onsite, 3-days remote Hybrid Schedule)
Note: C2C & 3rd Party Candidates will NOT be considered
Position Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst on a data management or data governance initiative
- Practical experience working with multiple project management methodologies, including at least one of the following; Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or SAFe
- Experience working with project management organizational or visualization tools, such as; Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally
- Experience supporting short and long-term projects, data management, and strategic business activities through the analysis of data
- Ability to conduct in depth data analysis for projects as well as ongoing data quality initiatives
- Experience creating datasets from a variety of disparate sources to further data management initiatives and processes
- Demonstrated ability in performing data mining on large datasets to supplement data management quality improvement initiatives
- Experience consulting with business stakeholders to document business requirements to support client needs
- Experience presenting reports with analysis and interpretation for business review and planning
- Demonstrated experience working with relational databases and database structures, with proficiency in SQL, including experience developing and recommending business solutions through research and analysis of data
- Experience implementing Data Management lifecycle toolsets, master data, and/or reference data programs or toolsets
- Experience using creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes, and to create new ones in accordance with data governance best practices
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or R preferred
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
