Job Description

Title: Senior Financial Analyst – Price & Value Financial Excellence

Location: Woonsocket, RI (Mon & Fri Remote; Tue, Wed, & Thu Onsite)

Pay Rate: $38.33/hr

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:30AM – 5:00PM EST

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the Financial Excellence team in financial tracking and reporting. You will work closely with numerous business teams and partners to manage operating expenses, vendor funding, and coupon metrics. Ideal candidates must have advanced experience with excel formulas and functions to create and manipulate data. Primary responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include:
• Supporting weekly and monthly reporting of coupon redemptions with variance analysis utilizing Snowflake SQL
• Supporting always-on dashboard validation and support
• Tracking vendor expenses throughout the entire process (reviewing contracts, creating accounting submissions, and tracking invoices across multiple financial and procurement tools)
• Working closely with business partners for future spend commitments, obtaining appropriate accounting supporting documents
• Performing monthly accounting reconciliations and accrual validations
• Supporting always-on expense and funding query management and reporting
• Providing additional project support and deliverables to support growth initiatives

Required Position Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a financial analytics/management role
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience, specifically with Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, including advanced function like SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), and VLOOKUP
• Ability to multi-task several concurrent requests with a sense of urgency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with the ability to mitigate potential issues before they happen
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Accounting, Mathematics, or Finance, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Position Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Experience accumulating, organizing, analyzing, and reporting relevant financial data to leadership
• Experience with Peoplesoft, SAP, Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Teradata
