Job Title: Field IT Support Technician

Job Type: Temporary covering FTE Leave of Absence with potential temp to perm

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours per week plus approved overtime

Location: Onsite throughout Colorado including Denver, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo

Travel Required: Yes, daily driving using personal vehicle
Mileage Reimbursement: 72 cents per mile
Safety Sensitive Role: Yes

Position Overview

This role provides onsite technical support to retail locations across Colorado. The technician will travel between multiple stores, supporting store technology, completing service calls, installing hardware, and performing preventative maintenance. This is not a work from home position and requires flexibility with travel, hours, and occasional nights, weekends, or holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for point of sale systems, pharmacy systems, photo kiosks, and inventory systems
• Install and configure computer hardware, printers, and POS equipment
• Perform software updates, hardware upgrades, and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, installations, and repairs
• Work independently while receiving daily direction from a permanent CVS Field Technology Services employee
• Ensure IT parts and equipment are installed correctly and RMAd properly
• Provide excellent customer service while working onsite in retail environments
• Support after hours, weekend, and holiday store issues as needed
• Lift up to 75 pounds as required

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in an IT support role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage daily travel schedules
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Background check must include Motor Vehicle Report due to driving

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Information Technology Professional certification is a plus
• Previous hardware repair experience

• This is an onsite field role
• Locations may occasionally extend beyond the primary coverage area
• Some drive times may be several hours each direction
• Mileage reimbursed weekly per client policy
