We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to join our team in Trenton, SC. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead projects, optimize production processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial engineering practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Senior Industrial Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects or processes of diverse scope, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Conduct cost, inventory, production control, and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and improvements to operating methods.
- Assist manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners through clear communication and negotiation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Senior Industrial Engineer Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
