Job Description
Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ / San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)

The Senior Project Manager will lead projects to move quality field action management processes into the TrackWise software application globally, and to redesign and streamline Quality Complaints-Handling processes in the TrackWise software application globally. The Senior Project Manager will drive the delivery of projects through advanced project management techniques and methodologies, aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices. The Project Manager may have responsibility to lead/coach/mentor other team members, functional leaders, and vendors, where necessary, to help drive project outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to define project objectives and business cases
- Take ownership for delivering project objectives and deliverables; drive project execution to meet project schedule, budget/costs, and quality requirements
- Handle ambiguity effectively and manage multiple complex, highly-visible projects at once and in parallel
- Establish project governance structures and define processes for reporting, review, and approval of project objectives and deliverables
- Liaise between IT, cross-functional business teams, and multiple vendors to ensure the successful delivery of projects with technology and business process components
Position Qualifications:
- 7 – 10 years of senior project management experience using PMI guidelines
- Experience managing projects that involve software applications such as TrackWise, SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), and MuleSoft, including experience across multiple system integrations and the implications associated with their respective release cycles and schedule constraints
- Familiarity working in a regulated environment (GxP), including ensuring audit preparation/documentation is completed and compliant
- Experience managing projects that include IT software development activities, following traditional Software Development Lifecycle (design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, etc.) activities
- Strong technical and practical knowledge of core Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) concepts and principles (Agile methodology, work breakdown structures, waterfall planning), with proficiency in engaging with external customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated experience managing/leading projects from initiation through closure
- Skill in establishing detailed definitions of scope, schedules, resources, and budget using standard project management processes, tools, and templates (MS Project, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experienced establishing various management plans for key knowledge areas, such as Schedules, Scope, Resources, Finance/Budget, Stakeholders, Risks/Issues, etc.
- Experience in establishing and ensuring adherence to governance/controls for project change control, as well as project status/progress reporting
- Proactivity in identifying and collaboratively addressing risks and issues; ability to engage Project Teams and stakeholder community/sponsorship in addressing risks and issues in a timely manner
- A strong leadership presence that inspires project stakeholders and team members to achieve project objectives
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project), among others
- Experience with executive-level communications, both written & oral; ability to gain support by actively and consistently involving others
- An awareness and understanding of their audience, and the best ways to engage with them to obtain decisions and sustain active engagement and support
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external customers and key stakeholders
- Experience in techniques to work with diverse, cross-functional, and virtual teams and environments
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple concurrent activities and prioritize personal workload and team workloads to optimize project delivery
- Ability to lead effective meetings/workshops to achieve stated outcomes and drive decisions; experience creating and adhering to meeting objectives and agendas, including timely distributing meeting minutes and follow-up on actions
- A commitment to meeting internal customers’ expectations and needs while maintaining objectivity and transparency
- Demonstrable resilience, empathy, and accountability
- Strong problem solver and active listener, adaptable to changes
- Strong organization and detail-orientation skills
- Experience or background managing projects in the medical device industry that involve the quality function, particularly quality field actions and complaints or the TrackWise software application, highly preferred
- A minimum of a BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related Degree that provides foundational skills to foster success in managing projects; PMP or other PMI Certification highly preferred
