Job Description

As a Software Engineer team member, you'll contribute to the development of state-of-the-art robotic systems automating medical diagnostic instruments. You'll engage with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating within a high-performing Agile/Scrum environment. Your tasks will span the full software development life cycle, from design and development to testing and field support.

 

We're seeking Software Engineers who excel in problem-solving and take pride in crafting exceptional software solutions. You'll play a vital role in building software for our next-generation blood culture instrument. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently plan, design, develop, test, and support software components.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish requirements specifications and test plans.
  • Contribute to project scheduling and execution.
  • Translate requirements into well-structured software components, documenting as needed.
  • Participate in design reviews and code inspections.
  • Implement solutions for identified defects and anticipate system risks.
  • Develop automated unit test cases to ensure software meets design criteria.
  • Monitor work progress, reporting to leadership as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in GUI development (Angular preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience using C#.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in MS SQL database design and access.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with AngularJS 2+.
  • 3+ Recent Years of multithreading

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in C# ASP.NET MVC development.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript Frameworks (e.g., Angular 2+, Bootstrap, JQuery).
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with Visual Studio.
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulated (FDA) environments and medical instrumentation.
