Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will be a vital part of the Insights team, transforming data into actionable insights, developing visual dashboards, and driving informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that support data-driven initiatives and contribute to overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources into BI platforms.
- Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for analytics and reporting.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement enhancements to improve the performance and efficiency of BI solutions.
- Data Visualization: Develop intuitive visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand requirements and deliver the necessary data infrastructure and tools.
- Documentation: Document data sources, processes, and solutions to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Data Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance regulations such as GDPR.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, enabling them to maximize the potential of BI tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (experience with AWS is a plus).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with automotive industry data is a plus.
