Job Description: The Service Desk Specialist I provides technical and operational support to external and internal users. You will support healthcare professionals who provide home healthcare services through a mobile application. The role requires customer-first interactions and troubleshooting skills for Apple iOS devices, Windows OS, and peripherals.
Service Desk Specialist I Schedule & Location:
- Onsite 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Location: Dallas, TX 75244
Service Desk Specialist I Salary/Wage:
- $15 - $17 per hour
Service Desk Specialist I Duties:
- Provide day-to-day technical and application support to clinicians and internal employees
- Engage with customers via ticketing systems, inbound and outbound calls, and email
- Troubleshoot Apple iPad (iOS), MacOS, Windows OS, and peripheral devices
- Monitor and manage hardware fulfillment requests
- Escalate and manage tickets transferred to other departments
- Keep customer documentation and tickets updated
- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects
- Work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays
Service Desk Specialist I Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Service Desk or Help Desk Support
- Strong customer-first mindset
- Experience supporting Apple iOS, iPads, Windows 10/11, and hardware peripherals
- Experience with web-based applications and mobile device management tools (Google Workspace, Slack, MaaS360, Workspace One)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems
Service Desk Specialist I Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed
- Ability to sit for long periods and engage with customers over the phone and via email
Service Desk Specialist I Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
