STAFF ACCOUNTANT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Louisville KY 40222 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $25.61/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
STAFF ACCOUNTANT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions in an onsite environment. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who enjoys structured workdays, clean ledgers, and Excel spreadsheets that actually balance on the first try.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
STAFF ACCOUNTANT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly journal entries related to billing and financial activity
- Provide general ledger oversight and support audit requests
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements
- Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Create and maintain tax and regulatory filings
- Provide guidance on cost accounting issues
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
STAFF ACCOUNTANT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Prior experience in a staff or general accounting role
