Job Description
Title: Store Layout Designer III
Pay Rate: $30.83/hr
Location: Woonsocket, RI (Mon, Thu, & Fri remote, Tue & Wed onsite – 1-2 weeks of training are fully onsite)
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST
The Store Layout Designer is responsible for:
- Developing fixture and merchandise layouts that accurately reflect the required product mix based on store location and clientele; this includes identifying stores within a growing number of cluster definitions (i.e., ethnicity, affluence, geography, etc.) that ultimately drive automated product replenishment
- Independently prioritizing and managing scheduled assignments to ensure on-time project completion; this includes working simultaneously on various project types, with varying scopes of work, as part of a dynamic schedule, requiring the ability to manage and adapt to ongoing changes in marketing approach and project schedules
- Analyzing, prioritizing, and summarizing data, and comparing it to company standards in such a way that identifies opportunities on a store specific basis; this includes the ability to act on market knowledge and apply creative merchandising solutions to improve store performance and meet local needs
Position Qualifications:
- Strong AutoCAD software experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a Store Planning or Merchandising position OR a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing; practical retail merchandising experience (i.e. retail associate experience) highly preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret various sources of data, including demographics (population, ethnicity, income averages, etc.), sales profiles, planogram productivity, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet timeline requirements for other supporting departments
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally, with various inhouse personnel, field management personnel, and various outside vendor representatives
- Ability to follow clear, concise directions with minimal supervision
- Experience with MS Office software (e.g. Excel and Word)
