Title: Supplier Administrator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8AM – 5PM EST

Job Responsibilities for the Supplier Administrator include, but are not limited to;

- Processing tickets in ServiceNow ticket managing application
- Handling New Supplier Request order entry and internal requests
- Processing, receiving, and distributing incoming email requests
- Completing weekly and monthly reports to assist other departments and customers, including backlog reports, to AP teams
- Creating and maintaining supplier master database information in Oracle
- Creating and maintaining supplier profiles
- Validating and auditing supplier bank account information
- Assisting suppliers with Supplier Portal requests and related support tasks
- Adhering to Supplier Administration policies & procedures (on file in department)
- Providing excellent customer service to our customers – measured via feedback or surveys

Job Requirements:

- Must be detail oriented, organized, accurate, and possess a desire to take care of our customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Experience processing tickets in a focused environment with expected output on a daily basis, directed by supervisor(s)
- Ability to handle sensitive data, ensuring all protocols are adhered to, to protect Hearst and our customers
- Proficient computer skills and previous experience with finance or procurement departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with AP staff, vendors, Finance Department staff, and staff at business units in the US, UK, and Canada
- Ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to deal with pressure related to meeting deadlines
- Ability to deal with detailed information
- Ability to work in a team and as well as an individual
- Previous accounts payable experience with a large multi-state company preferred
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
