Title: Demand & Supply Chain Planning Analyst

Location: HYBRID San Diego, CA (4-days onsite, 1-day remote)

The Demand & Supply Chain Planning Analyst will support and work closely with Marketing, Sales, Global Supply Planning, Finance, and Manufacturing, and will be jointly accountable with regions and WW Marketing for global forecast accuracy. Additionally, this position is responsible for owning the monthly Demand Management Process and integrating the output from this process into the Sales and Operation Planning Process.

Position Responsibilities:

• Working with all worldwide business regions and/or worldwide marketing to aggregate forecasts and ensure alignment with business strategies
• Supporting the development of skill competencies and processes across worldwide business regions, including SAP/APO and legacy system efficiencies
• Identifying areas of opportunity and/or risk for continuous improvement within the worldwide supply chain
• Participating in Regional Demand Reviews and/or Inter-regional Supply Reviews
• Working closely with Supply Planning to leverage information sharing across organizations
• Working directly with the business and customer sources of demands to create forecasts at levels representative of market segments and product families
• Leading monthly Demand Consensus Meetings and facilitating Global Demand Reviews
• Being responsible for developing detailed forecasts by SKU, based on family level consensus forecasts, and providing analysis for use in the Sales and Operations Planning Process
• Working closely with Distribution Partners to leverage information sharing across organizations
• Being jointly accountable with Marketing and Sales for overall forecast accuracy
• Working directly with key stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, etc.), facilitating monthly Demand Review Meetings
• Ensuring business exceptions from these meetings are defined and escalated for decision-making at appropriate S&OP meetings
• Managing product lifecycle activities jointly with Marketing within the New Activities Processes
• Being responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate product aggregations
• Developing and maintaining metrics to track performance and business contribution

Position Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of manufacturing and/or planning experience, coordinating multi-discipline activities
• Solid knowledge of supply chain procedures and environments (demand/supply/production planning, capacity leveling, product deployment, inventory control, etc.)
• Familiarity with industry ERP systems and common software applications; experience with SAP/APO preferred
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Production Engineering, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or other relevant field; APICS Certification preferred
