Surgical Technician Highlights

  • The pay for this position is $41–$43 per hour.
  • Schedule: 3x12s – Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM). No call required.
  • Onsite position
  • This position is a 13-week contract.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgical team under the direction of the RN and other surgical team members.
  • Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies during procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team for specific procedures.
  • Support patient care activities including transport, preparation, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Respond to emergency situations per established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and functional surgical environment.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of recent surgical technician experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program preferred, but not required.
