Surgical Technologist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $58-$64 per hour based on experience ($2000-$2300 weekly)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Surgical Technologist Highlights

• Shift: midshift/evening
• Hours: 1100-2330
• Shift length: 12 hour
• Weekend rotation: no
• On call: three (3) call shifts – one (1) weekday from 2300-0700, one (1) weekend Saturday and Sunday 1900-0700

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery
• Sterilize equipment and make sure that there are adequate supplies for surgery
• Ready patients for surgery, such as by washing and disinfecting incision sites
• Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
• Count supplies, such as surgical instruments, to ensure that no foreign objects are retained in patients
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent patient infection

Surgical Technologist Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Experienced in robots
• Required certifications: BLS
