3D Printed Part Finisher Compensation
• The pay for this position is $21 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
3D Printed Part Finisher Highlights
• This position is a contract-to-hire assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
3D Printed Part Finisher Responsibilities
• Clean and hand finish 3D printed parts using standard operating procedures and defined techniques while maintaining feature geometry and checking tolerances on key dimensions
• Use precision measurement devices to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Operate 3D printing equipment for routine and rotational maintenance
• Maintain finishing supplies and evaluate special supplies, techniques, and equipment
• Perform work following standard operating procedures and maintain laboratory notebooks in accordance with standards
• Contribute to the research and development of 3D printing applications as needed
3D Printed Part Finisher Requirements
• High school diploma is required
• 1+ year of experience with 3D printed part post-processing or machining activities
• Experience with 3D printing technologies like SLA, DLS, DLP, PolyJet, or FFF is a strong plus
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team
3D Printed Part Finisher Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with CAD software is desired
• Open to exploring and implementing new techniques related to 3D printing
