Industrial Automation Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $35.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is A Shift – Monday through Thursday, 5:45am – 6:00pm
- Perform setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on highly automated manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits up to 480 VAC
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Support production goals related to quality, downtime, and waste reduction
- Maintain equipment uptime, safety, and reliability
- Utilize sound judgment to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and maintenance teams
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read and interpret complex automated system drawings and schematics
- Experience using multimeters, sensors, motors, gearboxes, belts, and chain drives
- Proficiency using a PC including MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, servos, ladder logic, and industrial control systems
- Exposure to robotics and vision systems
- Mechanical design experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Experience with SAP maintenance modules or CMMS
- Basic machining or welding skills (mill, lathe, welding, bearing press)
