Industrial Automation Technician (Fri / Sat/ Sun) Compensation
- The pay for this position is $35.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is C Shift – Friday through Sunday, 5:45am – 6:00pm
- Perform routine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on highly complex and automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance repairs and adjustments
- Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from low-level signals up to 480 VAC
- Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Monitor machine performance related to production, quality, downtime, and waste
- Analyze and resolve complex equipment failures using sound judgment and consultation
- Support production and engineering teams in achieving operational goals
- Maintain safety, quality, and equipment reliability standards
- Work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and automated system drawings
- Experience with multimeters, sensors, motors, gearboxes, belts, and chain drives
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Demonstrated time management, communication, and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Experience troubleshooting Industrial Control Systems (PLC, ladder logic, relay logic, VFDs, servos)
- Knowledge of PLC operations, robotics, and vision systems
- Mechanical design experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Experience using SAP maintenance modules or CMMS
- Basic machining, fabrication, or welding experience (mill, lathe, bearing press, welding)
