Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD 21152
Pay: $21.50/hr.
Schedule: 1st Shift-Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (overtime may be required)
Overview
We’re hiring a Technologist-Scientific Ops to support manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products in a regulated environment. This is a hands-on production role working with raw materials, batching, in-process checks, and documentation while following GMP and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products
- Operate production equipment and support production workflows
- Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure correct batch ingredients/quantities
- Assist with in-process testing to confirm batches meet specifications
- Support validation of processes/equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilization
- Create solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
- Provide training support for onboarding and/or new procedures
- Partner with lead/supervisor as needed and recommend continuous improvements
- Follow GMP, housekeeping, and all safety policies/procedures
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma + 2 years relevant experience in a regulated environment
- OR Associate’s degree (scientific) may be considered with no experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong time management
- English proficiency (read/write; follow diagrams; basic arithmetic)
- MS Excel proficiency required
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing/production in a regulated environment (GMP/quality-driven settings)
- Experience supporting process validation or sterile/cleaning/filtration processes
