Job Description
- Counsel and educate new/existing patients on specialty drug therapies.
- Adhere to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specification.
- Complete thorough and accurate documentation following industry standards.
- Discuss potential/current side effects and educate about treatment alternatives.
- Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to appropriate authorities.
- Maintain patient demographic records and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Support teams to ensure timely delivery of specialty drugs.
- Hybrid-Onsite position, requires onsite work twice weekly.
- Shift: Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, occasional Saturdays.
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted compact state license or primary NC licensure.
- Associates, Bachelor or higher degree in Nursing or accredited nursing diploma.
- 4+ years of nursing experience, preferably with at least 1 year in oncology.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
