Job Description: The Telehealth Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care services remotely through a technology platform. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work in collaboration with a dedicated team to independently provide holistic, evidence-based care. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health problems for patients aged 18 months and older, providing health counseling and disposition planning. All encounters are documented using an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Schedule & Location:

• Location: Fully Remote
• Schedule: Every Weekend and Holiday (major and minor), 10-hour shifts from 8 am to 7 pm

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Salary/Wage:

• Pay Rate: $74.87 per hour

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Duties:

• Patient-Centered Quality and Safety:

  • Evaluate and treat patients, including those with chronic and transitional care needs, and provide healthcare education and counseling.
  • Document all patient care within EHR according to policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
  • Provide care coordination with internal and external colleagues, including pharmacists and behavioral health teams.

• Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and increase patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with PHI and HIPAA standards.

• Healthcare Environment Management:

  • Resolve conflicts and maintain positive relationships within the healthcare team.
  • Manage clinical and non-clinical duties while prioritizing patient needs.
  • Support clinic operations, including inventory management, receiving phone calls, and maintaining clinic cleanliness.

• Business Acumen:

  • Ensure complete and accurate payment for services through comprehensive documentation and verification.
  • Complete revenue cycle management tasks, including billing insurance and collecting payments.

• Autonomy:

  • Work independently and prioritize tasks to meet patient and business needs.
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated in the healthcare field.

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
• Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• Proficient in technology and EHR systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Physical Requirements:

• Fully remote role, requiring proficiency with remote technology and communication platforms.

Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Education:

• Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program
