Job Title: Telehealth Nurse Case Manager
Location: Cary, NC – Candidates must be residents of North Carolina and live within commutable distance of Cary, NC.
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Environment: Mostly REMOTE with 2-4 weeks of Onsite training required; in-office requirement once a month

Important Qualifications (Do Not Apply Without Meeting The Following):
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in acute care, telehealth, and case management.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted multi-state compact license.
- Oncology and/or Hematology nursing experience preferred.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Telehealth Nurse Case Manager specializing in oncology and hematology. In this role, you will support patients undergoing specialty drug therapies through virtual counseling and education. You will play a key part in ensuring patients understand their treatment plans, adhere to therapy regimens, and navigate potential side effects while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide telephonic counseling and education to new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies.
Ensure adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations based on drug specifications.
Document patient interactions accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with industry standards.
Educate patients on potential side effects and discuss treatment alternatives to promote adherence to therapy.
Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to the manufacturer, FDA, or other governing authorities.
What We’re Looking For in You:
- Experience: At least 5 years of clinical experience with a focus on acute care, telehealth, and case management.
- Specialized Skills: Oncology/Hematology nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in motivational interviewing.
- Independence: Able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical standards, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted multi-state compact state license.
- Oncology and/or Hematology experience preferred.
- 4+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute inpatient care.
